Foundry: This past October 2007 I bought myself a small propane fired foundry from www.foundry101.com! My first project was to strip down a bunch of old hard drives and melt down their aluminum casings. I got about 14 pounds of ingots out of three firings, each ingot I made is roughly a pound each. I then tried a few times to cast something useful (wall brackets, lantern hooks, etc.) but failed miserably. The best I could do was make a sea shell paper weight! Hopefully with some more practice i will get better. But it is still a LOT of fun to play with molten metal!

The Knotty Heart Club: A fun club with no strings attached. Just a cool Celtic heart design and a "knotty" name.

BattleDrake: This is a PC game we are designing. Its still in its infancy and will not be available for quite some time, but I'll begin posting my progress as the game develops. It is designed in a simple overhead-view arcade style, but will allow one-on-one dogfight combat using dragons with another player over a network or the Internet. A deluxe version will be released later to allow you to set up a small world that many others can log into to battle in groups.

Update 11/18/07: In the last three years, no progress has been made on this project. I have the dragon in flight, but have not done much else with in after that. I'd still like to see it made, but I just don't have the time so it will remain shelved until further notice.

StormWar: This is a set of books I am writing as time and inspiration will allow. The first is StormWar. Set in a medieval world it reveals a great struggle for dominance between the elder races, the Loralei and the Salithi, who use ancient technological artifacts and powerful summoning magic to do battle. Then comes the StormWar Legacy trilogy (working book titles are Storm Winds Stirring, Storm Winds Rising, & Storm Winds Cresting) which describe a world torn by the great StormWar 150 years prior, and the hero's quest to rid the world of the very storm that ended the war in devastation and destruction ... and is now rising again.

Update 11/18/07: Progress on StormWar is coming along nicely. Not as quickly as I would like, but I do manage to get in a little writing time between real-world obligations. This book is about 3/4 roughed out. I'm trying to quickly get to the end before going back to polish the story arc.
